A demo refit case study of compact motor cruiser Canamer 33 ONE, based on material from Italian yard Nautica Servizi Terra d’Otranto. A small private boat rather than a large expedition yacht.

The focus is on onboard systems: new electrics, a Mastervolt 3.5 generator, air conditioning, a bow thruster and Raymarine navigation equipment. The yard also lists Volvo Penta D6 engine installation and a full hull repaint.

Project galleries show the cockpit before and after; the feed covers technical stages and a sample approval request. Post order is reconstructed for this demo; the refit budget is not published.

Cockpit strip-out and deck preparation

The cockpit before renewal: removed timber pieces, old decking and exposed surfaces. The following photographs show the stripped seating area and new decking being fitted around the hatches.

Electrical installation, generator and air conditioning

The technical spaces contain a Mastervolt Whisper 3.5 generator, electrical units with their cabling and a separate air-conditioning unit. Close-ups show the equipment layout, hoses and acoustic insulation.
